Jackie Clayton: Tumbling Instructor
Jacqueline Oria Clayton, a native Floridian, discovered her love for cheer and dance at the early age of five. Throughout her childhood and early adulthood, Mrs. Clayton trained vigorously in several forms of dance, including ballet, and competed on many athletic league and school cheer teams. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. While a certified teacher working at a local elementary school, Mrs. Clayton embraced the Principal’s challenge to develop the school’s cheerleading program. So began her passion for enriching the lives of young girls by coaching them on the principles of teamwork, dedication and discipline found in cheerleading and tumbling. Mrs. Clayton has led her cheer squads to win national titles for the past twelve years straight. Many of her cheerleaders have gone on to compete for all star, junior high, high school and collegiate squads.
Mrs. Clayton teaches tumbling at Artistic Dance Center to enhance the dancer’s strength, agility and balance.
