Kailly Gonzalez: Flamenco/Hip Hop Instructor

The Miami born dancer of Cuban decent started dancing at the early age of three. She is trained in ballet, modern dance, tap, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco, salsa, and Irish dance. She has studied Spanish dance with Angela Rhea, Antonio Granjero, Rosa Mercedes and Estrella Morena. She has performed with very talented well know dancers such as Jose Moreno, Martin Gaxiola, Joaquin Ruiz, Lucia Duenas, Joaquin mulero, Antonio Granjero, Felix Soria, Gadea San Roman, Rosa Mercedes, Raul Salcedo and Paco Fonta. She has performed for “Dance for Life”, Carla Cid de Diego’s fashion show and many different charities. She has performed in the Florida Grand Opera for two seasons (La Traviata, Turondote).

Ms. Gonzalez started dancing in her first professional company at the age of 14 with Angela Rhea. She was the youngest in the company by ten years. At age 17 she began dancing for Duende Ballet Espanol where she danced for five years. During that time, she also served as the captain of her high school dance team “Saberettes” during her senior year.

Kailly began teaching flamenco at the age of 14 at Alita Cabrerra Studio and also taught at Maria Verdeja studio. She continues to express her passion and love for dance, as a teacher at Artistic Dance Center, where she has taught and choreographed flamenco and hip-hop dances since its inception in 2002.
